Hello, I am a graduate student at Elon University in the Communications Department. This is the inaugural Master’s Degree program in Interactive Media. I recently moved here from Charlotte, NC. After a BA from Miami U. (Ohio) and MA from U. of Cincinnati, both in Theatre Arts, I spent a successful and rewarding career in new product development and marketing. With a unique beginning as a greeting card writer for Hallmark, Inc., I discovered a natural talent for creating and marketing new products and product line extensions.  These early successes led to an entrepreneurial career path that involved many foreign sourcing trips to Japan, Hong Kong and China in search of gift, souvenir and stationery products. Most recently, I was head of product development for Carolina Pad in Charlotte, a company that designs and sells fashion school supplies. With a life goal of returning to teaching at the college level, my focus will be to explore the use of interactive media as a teaching tool in higher education.
